K Srikanth beats Olympic Champion Chen Long to clinch Australian Open Super Series

K Srikanth continued his superb form by winning the second successive Super Series title in two weeks. The first one was last week winning the Indonesian Super Series Premier and then today the Australian Open Super Series. Before this tournament, he reached the Singapore Super Series tournament finals losing to his teammate Sai Pranneth. It has been an amazing few weeks for K Srikanth who was struggling with the injuries in last few months.  K Srikanth was in great form during the Australian Open Super Series defeating the number 1 ranked player in men's singles Son Wo Ho for the second successive time in two weeks, Sai Pranneth in the quarter-finals stage, defeated number 4 ranked player Shi Q of China in straight sets at the semi-finals stage.  It is great to see K Srikanth come back into form and play to his best. Rashid Khan joins the elite list of bowlers with best figures in ODI cricket

It was worth watching spell by Rashid Khan during the first One-day International match against West Indies at ST Lucia. He picked 7/18 which helped Afghanistan register a 63 runs win over West Indies to take a 1-0 lead in the series. This is the fourth best figures by a bowler in ODI cricket joining the elite list of Chaminda Vaas, Glenn McCgarth, Shahid Afridi, Andy Bichel. Rashid Khan did not allow the West Indies batsmen to score runs with ease. Afganistan scored just 212 for 6 but due to his magical spell, they were able to bowl out West Indies for just 149. It is one of the best spells by an associate bowler against a full member nation. Rashid Khan was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad side in VIVO IPL 10. He did not disappoint the side taking 17 wickets in 14 matches with an economy of 6.62 runs per over. CT 2017 England vs. Bangladesh 1 st match review- England produced a dominating display to start the Champions Trophy 2017 campaign with a thumping 8 wicket win over Bangladesh at Kennington Oval, London just today. Bangladesh started well with Tamim Iqbal scoring 125 while Rahim scored 79. The England team on the back of Joe Root’s century, Eoin Morgan 75, Alex Hales 95 helped them to trash the visitors by such a big margin. England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field at Kennington Oval, London today. Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar started slowly in the first 3 overs scoring just 6 runs. Soumya Sarkar smashed Jake Ball for two boundaries in the 5 th over.
