K Srikanth beats Olympic Champion Chen Long to clinch Australian Open Super Series
K Srikanth continued his superb form by winning the second successive Super Series title in two weeks. The first one was last week winning the Indonesian Super Series Premier and then today the Australian Open Super Series. Before this tournament, he reached the Singapore Super Series tournament finals losing to his teammate Sai Pranneth. It has been an amazing few weeks for K Srikanth who was struggling with the injuries in last few months. K Srikanth was in great form during the Australian Open Super Series defeating the number 1 ranked player in men's singles Son Wo Ho for the second successive time in two weeks, Sai Pranneth in the quarter-finals stage, defeated number 4 ranked player Shi Q of China in straight sets at the semi-finals stage.
