Badminton Asia Championship 2025: Disappointing Day For Indian Shuttlers
The Indian shuttlers had a disappointing day with the likes of Kiran George, Pranshu Rajawat & PV Sindhu making it in the second round of the Badminton Asia Championship 2025 played at Ningbo, China on 9 th April. HS Prannoy opened the day for the Indian contingent. He suffered a three-game loss to Lu GZ of China. The first game saw Lu putting on an excellent display of badminton putting enough pressure on the Indian by winning the first set easily at 21-16. Prannoy made a strong comeback with a great display putting enough pressure on Lu winning the second game easily at 21-12. The third game was a one-sided affair as Lu played attacking badminton winning with a commanding scoreline of 21-10. Lakshya Sen’s poor form continued with a straight-game loss to Lee C-h of Chinese Taipei. The first game was a closely fought affair as Sen lost with a scoreline of 18-21.
