Stats: Sydney Sixers register biggest win in BBL history
Thanks to a dominating performance, Sydney Sixers registered their biggest win in BBL history as they defeated Melbourne Renegades played at Blundstone Arena, Hobart on Sunday. Melbourne Renegades captain Aaron Finch won the toss and decided to field first. It was an ideal start for Renegades as Hatzoglou got rid of Jack Edwards cheaply. At the end of the powerplay overs reduced to 4 overs, Sixers made 27 for 1. James Vince played with intent and put Renegades bowlers under some pressure while Joshua Phillippe took some to settle. After settling in, Philippe took the attack to Renegades bowlers and completed his fifty off 36 balls. Daniel Hughes gave good support to Philippe making life tough for the opposition. Sydney Sixers took the power surge in the 14 th over and scored 32 runs losing the wicket of Hughes. Hughes and Philippe added 78 runs for the 3 rd wicket.
