BBL 10: Perth Scorchers move into the finals with a big win over Brisbane Heats
Thanks to all-round performance, Perth Scorchers proved too strong as they defeated Brisbane Heats in the challenger played at Manuka Oval, Canberra on Thursday. Brisbane Heats captain Chris Lynn won the toss and decided to field first. After a quiet first over by Bartlett, Liam Livingstone looked in sublime touch putting the Brisbane Heats bowlers under pressure right from the word go. On the other hand, Bancroft who replaced Jason Roy also played with intent. At the end of the first four overs, Scorchers made 33 for 0. After the field restrictions, Liam Livingstone upped the ante and kept on putting pressure on Brisbane Heats bowlers especially Swepson and Marnus Labuschagne. Heats decided to bring Morne Morkel as a replacement. Livingstone completed his fifty off just 27 balls to lay a strong foundation for a massive total.
