FIH Pro Hockey League 2022 Leg 1: Indian team proves too hot for Germany
The Indian men’s hockey team continued their impressive form with a comprehensive 3-0 win over the young German side in the 1 st leg of the FIH Pro Hockey League match played at Kalinga Stadium, Bhuvneshwar on Thursday. It was an aggressive start by the Indian side putting pressure on the German side. India earned their first penalty corner as Jugraj took the shot but was well defended before Nilkanta's shot went wide. Indian team kept the pressure on the young German side and did not convert chances into goals. At the end of the first quarter, the scores remained 0-0.
