The Defending Champions India starts the Asian Men’s Champions Trophy Hockey tournament with a resounding win over the hosts China played at Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia, China on 8 th September 2024. It was a cautious start by both teams in the initial minutes. India earned their first penalty corner; the shot was well saved by the Chinese goalkeeper. After the save, China went to counterattack did not yield any result.
