 The table-toppers Gujarat Titans produced a sensational performance to register the IPL title on the first attempt against Rajasthan Royals played in front of a jam-packed crowd at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday. RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bat first. Jaiswal looked in decent touch putting pressure on Gujarat Titans bowlers while Jos Buttler continued his superb form.  Gujarat Titans became the first team to qualify for the playoffs as they defeated Lucknow Super Giants by a huge margin played at MCA Stadium, Pune on Tuesday. GT captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first. It was not an ideal start for Hardik Pandya's led side as they lost an early wicket of Wriddhiman Saha providing a simple catch to Avesh Khan at mid-on.  The much-anticipated schedule of Tata IPL 2022 has been announced by the BCCI. In this year’s tournament, there are two new teams named Lucknow Super Giants and then Gujarat Titans. The teams have been divided into 2 groups with each of them playing others twice in the group and then playing once with 4 teams in another group. The league matches will be played in 4 venues including 3 in Mumbai and Pune. It promises to be an exciting tournament as the two new teams would be looking to make a mark against the established teams.
