Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship 2025: India Went Down Fighting To South Korea.
The Indian Badminton Team suffered a 2-3 loss to decide the table topper against South Korea played at Qingdao, China on 13 th February 2025. It was a disappointing start for the Indian team as the mixed doubles pairing of Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto suffered a loss in three thrilling games to KI DJ and Jeong N E. Kapil and Crasto showed domination during the first game not allowing any chance for their opponents by winning with a comfortable scoreline of 21-11. Ki and Jeong showed domination putting Kapil and Crasto under pressure in the next two games winning by 21-12, 21-15 to give South Korea a 1-0 lead. Malvika Bansod looked out of sorts in the women’s singles. She suffered a straight-game loss to Sim Y J. Sim produced great performances putting the youngster under immense pressure winning by 21-9, 21-10 to give South Korea a 2-0 lead.
