It was a superb day for the New Zealand team as they put the hosts under pressure on the 3 rd day of the 2 nd Test played at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Saturday. Starting on the overnight score of 229 for 3, Ross Taylor started off aggressively reaching his fifty from 112 balls. The England captain Joe Root decided to take the 2 nd new ball immediately.
