Indian badminton for the prestigious tournaments announced
The Badminton Association of India announced a strong squad for the prestigious Sudirman Cup followed by Thomas Cup and Uber Cup. Saina Nehwal will lead India in the Uber Cup while there are few new players who performed brilliantly during the recently concluded trials. The bronze medallists of Tokyo Olympics 2020, PV Sindhu decided to skip both tournaments as she has not had practice being busy for facilitation ceremony. The 2021 Sudirman Cup would begin from 26 th September till the 3 rd of October to be played in Vantaa, Finland. They are placed in a tough group against China, Thailand, and hosts Finland.
