India versus Sri Lanka 2nd Test 2nd Day: India on course for a big win

 The Indian Cricket Team ended the 2 nd day of the Pink-Ball Test match against visiting Lankan side in a dominating position played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday. Starting on the overnight score of 86 for 6, Sri Lanka lost an early wicket of Lasith Emdbulyena with a sharp bouncer by Jasprit Bumrah. The Indian bowlers bundled out Sri Lanka for a paltry total of 109 runs. Bumrah looked the best bowler for Team India with his first five-wicket haul in Test matches on Indian soil. In reply, Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma provided a decent start putting the bad deliveries away for boundaries. Praveen Jayawickrama went off the field due to an injury while fielding.   It was an amazing game of cricket as the minnows Ireland stunned England played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on 2 nd March 2011. England captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and decided to bat first. Kevin Pietersen looked in great touch right from word while Strauss also put Ireland bowlers under pressure. Dockrell got the breakthrough for Ireland dismissing Strauss. Strauss and Pietersen put on 91 runs laying a strong foundation. Pietersen reached his fifty-off 40 balls while Trott also made the batting look easy keeping the scoreboard ticking. After the fall of Pietersen wicket, Trott, and Ian Bell put on a brilliant display of batting with elegant strokes.   After defeating Bangladesh in the opening match of the World Cup 2011, the hosts and visitors England were involved in a thrilling tie played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on 27 th February. The Indian captain MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first. Virender Sehwag looked in explosive touch putting pressure on the England bowlers right from the word go. A superb one-handed catch by Matt Prior ended Sehwag innings. Sehwag and Sachin put on 46 runs for the opening wicket to lay a strong foundation. At the end of the first 10 overs, India made 58 for 1. After the field restrictions, Gambhir and Sachin played with intent keeping the scoreboard ticking.
