 The defending Champions England stay alive in the tournament with a thrilling win over White Ferns played at Eden Park, Auckland on Sunday. England captain Heather Knight won the toss and decided to field first. The opening pair of Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine provided a solid start putting pressure on the England bowlers with positive intent. They never allowed settling keeping the scoreboard ticking. White Ferns opening pair scored 52 for 0 at the end of 10 overs. Kate Cross was bought into the attack and dismissed dangerous Suzie Bates to end a strong 61 runs opening partnership.  The Indian women’s team went down fighting as they lost to the Australian team in a high-scoring thriller played at Eden Park, Auckland on Saturday. Australian captain Meg Lanning won the toss and decided to field first. The decision paid off as Darice Brown got rid of Smriti Mandhana with a lovely catch by Meg Lanning at second slips. Shafali Verma coming as a replacement for Deepti Sharma looked in decent touch before Beth Mooney's brilliance ended her innings to leave the Indian team struggling. At the end of the first 10 overs, the Indian women's team scored 37 for 2. After the field restrictions, Bhatia and Mithali Raj kept the scoreboard ticking.  The Australian women’s team registered their successive win of the tournament beating Pakistan easily played at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui on Tuesday. Australian captain Meg Lanning won the toss and decided to field first. The decision paid off as Ellyse Perry and Megan Schutt grabbed two wickets early. Schutt dismissed Nahida Khan providing catch to   Mooney at gully while Perry got rid of Sidra Ameen to leave Pakistan women struggling. Omamia Sohail and Bismah Maharoof steadied the ship with some lovely shots to put some pressure on Australian bowlers. At the end of the first 10 overs, Pakistan women made 37 for 2.
