The defending champions India showed their skills with a dominating win over England in the second semi-finals of the Under 19 women’s T20 World Cup 2025 played at Bayumeas Oval, Kuala Lumpur on 31 st January. England captain Abi Norgrove won the toss and decided to bat first. It was a flying start by Davina Perin putting pressure on Indian bowlers with positive strokes. The left-arm spin bowler Parunika Sisodia struck Jemima Spence going through the gate. Perin and Spence added 37 runs for the opening wicket. Sisodia struck again in the same over to dismiss Trudy Johnson without scoring any runs. Perin looked impressive keeping the scoreboard ticking not allowing the spinners to settle.
