  The opening match of ICC ODI World Cup qualifiers saw hosts Zimbabwe thrash Nepal in a one-sided encounter played at Harare Sports Club, Harare on 18 June 2023.   Zimbabwe produced a dominating performance against Nepal at Harare Sports Club, Harare.  It was a superb performance by Zimbabwe defeating the full member nation in both T20I and ODI series at home. All 6 matches of the series were played at Harare Sports Club, Harare from 30 th July till 10 th August 2022. Zimbabwe registered the first T20I series win over a full member nation. Zimbabwe versus PNG The hosts made it into the prestigious ICC World T20 tournament with a big win over Papua New Guinea played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.
