David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne puts Australia in a commanding position on day 1 of 2nd Test
Thanks to David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne unbeaten partnership, Australia are in a commanding position at the end of day 1 of the 2 nd Test match played at the Adelaide Oval during the day night Test on Friday. Australian captain Tim Paine won the toss and decided to bat first. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Abbas bowled with control. Shaheen got the early breakthrough for Pakistan dismissing Joe Burns cheaply. David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne looked in total control against the inexperienced Pakistani bowling line up. At the end of first session, Australia were 70 for 1. After the tea break, Warner took time against Abbas and Shaheen Shah Afridi who were bowling decently. The explosive left-handed batsman reached his fifty off 75 balls with an overthrow boundary. Labuschagne continued his superb form that he displayed at Brisbane to reach his fifty off 106 balls.
