Sri Lanka started the ICC World Cup Super League stage on a winning note defeating Bangladesh in high scoring thriller played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on Sunday. Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and decided to field first. Liton Das and Naim Islam gave Bangladesh a decent start putting pressure on the Lankan opening bowling pair.
