On 29 th May 2016, Sunrisers Hyderabad won their maiden IPL title by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and decided to bat first. Warner and Shikhar Dhawan got the team off to a flying start putting the pressure on RCB bowlers right from word go.
