In the 2 nd quarterfinals against Kerala played at Palam A Air force Ground, New Delhi, Paddikal made a sensational 101 and put on a remarkable 249 runs for the opening wicket. His 101 off 119 balls with 10 fours and 2 sixes along with a brilliant 192 by Ravi Samarth, quickfire 34 off 20 balls helped Karnataka post a massive total of 338 for 3 in 50 overs.
