BWF World Championship 2022 Day 4: Male Indian shuttlers qualify for the quarterfinals
The Indian shuttlers continued their impressive run as 2 doubles pairing and one more singles player made it into the quarterfinals of the prestigious BWF World Championship event played in Tokyo on Thursday. Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun proved their worth again as they defeated the Singapore pair of Hee Yong and Loh Kean in three games. The first game saw both pairs playing aggressive intent taking alternate points till 6-6. It was a closely fought affair with Dhruv and Arjun with an 11-9 lead at the break. After the break, the Indian pair continued to maintain the lead at 15-11. Hee and Loh made a strong comeback to take 4 points in succession leveling the scores at 15-15.
