The defending Champions India registered a resounding win over hosts Malaysia in their second Group A game at Bayumeas Oval, Kuala Lumpur on 21 st January 2025. After registering a 9-wicket win in the first game against West Indies, Indian captain Nikki Prasad won the toss and decided to field first. It was a dominating bowling performance by Indian bowlers as they bundled out the hosts Malaysia for a mere total of 31 runs. Making her debut, Vaishnavi Sharma looked impressive keeping things tight and not allowing Malaysian batters to score runs easily.
