  The Indian women’s Cricket Team will take on England in one-off historic Test match on England soil after a gap of 7 years to be played at Bristol from 16 th June onwards. A total of 140 Test matches have been played so far. The first women’s Test match was played between England and Australia in December 1934 contested in a three-day. The match between Indian women and England women will be a four-day contest hoping to see a cracking contest. Under the captaincy of Mithali Raj, the Indian women defeated strong England by six wickets in the one-off Test match played at Wormsley. It was a historic moment for Indian cricket as they registered their first win on England soil. After playing a Test against England in June, the Indian women’s team would be playing their first day-night fixture to be played at WACA Stadium, Perth. It promises to be an exciting series as the Australian team would look to dominate India in their own conditions. The series would start on 19 th September and finish on 11 th October 2021. The top two cricketing teams in the world would be looking to showcase their skills in all formats. The last time, the Indian women’s team played a Test match on Australian soil was 2006.   South Africa produced a memorable chase on the final day of the 1 st Test match against the mighty Australian team played at WACA Stadium, Perth on 21 st December 2008. Chasing 414 runs to win, South Africa lost an early wicket of Neil Mckenzie cheaply. South African captain Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla steadied the innings for the visitors putting on 153 runs for the 2 nd wicket to lay a strong foundation. A brilliant performance by the Sri Lankan batsmen helped them to post a massive total of 520 for 8. Muralitharan was at his best in the first innings by picking figures of 5 for 63. On 18 th July 2017, Sri Lanka recorded their highest-ever run chase in the one-off Test match against Zimbabwe at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Chasing a massive target of 388 runs to win, Sri Lanka ended the 4 th day on 170 for 3 with Kusal Mendis on 60 not out and Mathews on 17 not out.
