It was another good day of cricket in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Super League. Karnataka continued their domination winning their 3 rd successive match and qualify for the semi-finals in Group B. Mumbai defeated Jharkhand. In Pool A, Maharashtra stunned the table topper Baroda while Haryana won their match against Delhi. Group A Maharashtra versus Baroda Maharashtra defeated Baroda by 67 runs in the first match of Pool A played at CB Patel International Cricket Stadium, Surat on Sunday. Maharashtra captain Rahul Tripathi won the toss and decided to bat first. Vijay Zol and Ruturaj Gaikwad provided a flying start to innings adding 51 runs for the opening wicket in just 5.5 overs.
