Indian ODI squad for the series against England announced
The Indian selectors have announced its 18-member squad for the 3 match ODI series starting from 23 rd March 2021. These matches are a part of the ICC ODI Super League tournament. Virat Kohli will lead the side while Rohit Sharma has been named as the vice-captain. Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul are the openers included. Surya Kumar Yadav who impressed in his first T20I innings has been given a chance to represent the country in 50 overs format along with Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant. Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya would enter as the all-rounder's slot. Krunal Pandya has been given a chance due to great performances in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy. He played some brilliant knocks and also picked wickets to earn him a slot in the ODI squad. Pant who had a remarkable run of late will be the wicketkeeper.
