Indian Test squad announced for South Africa tour
The Board of Cricket Control for India announced a strong squad to face South Africa in the 3 match Test series starting from 26 th December at Centurion. Despite Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel being ruled out of the series due to injuries, the Indian team looks solid with the likes of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Mayank Agarwal as openers. The middle-order comprises Pujara, out of form Rahane, Hanuma Vihari returns to the squad who has been in superb form during the 3 unofficial matches against South Africa A. The Indian team batting looks promising with the likes of Shreyas Iyer who made his Test debut for India during the recently concluded home Test series against New Zealand. The South Africa tour will mark the return of Rishabh Pant who was rested during the whole series against the Kiwis. Wriddhiman Saha also has been included as the second wicketkeeper.
