IPL 2021 Match 37: Punjab Kings knock out SRH in a low scoring thriiler

  In the second match, Punjab Kings held their nerves to defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad in a low-scoring thriller played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on Saturday. SRH captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to field first. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal started off cautiously. A superb one-handed catch by substitute fielder J Suchith resulted in the wicket of KL Rahul. In the same over, Holder struck again to get rid of Mayank Agarwal to leave Punjab Kings struggling. Chris Gayle and Aiden Markram were not able to put pressure on SRH bowlers. At the end of the first six overs, Punjab Kings scored 29 for 2. At the end of the first timeout, Punjab Kings scored 45 for 2. Rashid Khan got rid of dangerous Gayle with a quicker delivery. SRH bowlers kept on picking wickets at regular intervals and did not allow Punjab Kings to score runs easily. England versus WI 1st Test: Jason Holder put West Indies at the end of day 2

Thanks to a superb bowling spell by Jason Holder and Shannon Gabriel, West Indies ended the 2 nd day of the 1 st Test match against hosts England at Ageas Bowl, Southampton in a rain-curtailed play on Thursday. Starting on the overnight score of 35 for 1, Rory Burns and Joe Denly struggled against the West Indies bowlers who bowled much better than on day 1. Shannon Gabriel was on the spot right from the word go and troubled both batsmen. Gabriel got the first breakthrough dismissing Joe Denly with a beauty of a delivery that castled the stumps. Gabriel struck again as he got rid of Rory Burns with a brilliant yorker. The decision was overturned as the umpire gave it not out and Jason Holder decided to review the decision for an LBW.
