  It was an exciting days of test cricket in the deciding and final match of the series played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on 24 th October 2024. England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and decided to bat first. The pitch had a lot of turn right from the word go. Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali troubled Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett. After initial trouble, Duckett showed intent to keep the scoreboard ticking with sweeps and reverse sweeps.   The Sri Lankan Cricket Team stunned hosts England in the 3 rd test match at Kennington Oval, London on 9 th September 2024. Starting on the overnight score of 94 for 1, Sri Lanka began off positively with Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis showing intent to keep the scoreboard ticking. Starting on the overnight score of 211 for 5, Dhananjaya de Silva and Kamindu Mendis began off brightly. Josh Hull struck the first blow of the day dismissing Dhananjaya caught at fine leg by Shoaib Bashir. Both added 127 runs for the 6 th wicket. Starting the day on 221 for 3, Harry Brook struggled against a disciplined Lankan pace bowling unit. Brook was given out by the umpire; on review it was overturned to not out as there was no edge.  The Indian men’s hockey team stunned World number 1 Australia in the 3 rd Test match with a thrilling win played at Adelaide on 30 November 2022. It was an aggressive start by both teams but needed help to convert chances into goals. India earned their first penalty corner which was converted by Harmanpreet Singh in the 12 th minute to give them a 1-0 lead and ended the first quarter at the same scoreline. The second quarter saw P Sreejesh saving 4 brilliant shots from Australian attackers. Indian defense looked sharp and did not allow them to level the scores. P Sreejesh made a triple save from the penalty corner before the Indian defense kept the ball out.  The England Cricket Team ended the summer with a comprehensive win over South Africa on the 5 th day of the 3 rd Test match played at Kia Oval, London on Monday. With 33 runs required to win, Alex Lees was dismissed via review for LBW. Dean Elgar decided to review the decision after a muted appeal before the umpire changed its decision to out.  The England Cricket Team continued their impressive performances as they ended the 4 th day of the 3 rd Test with just 33 runs short of a victory played at Kia Oval, London on Sunday. Starting on the overnight score of 154 for 7, England lost 3 wickets in space of 4 runs to be bowled out for 158. Kagiso Rabada grabbed the wickets of Ollie Robinson and then Jack Leach took the inside edge onto the stumps. Ben Foakes did not take singles but was eventually caught by Keegan Petersen at slips.  It was a great day for the pace bowlers of both sides as the third day of the third Test match went at a quick pace with 17 wickets falling played at Kia Oval, Oval, London on Saturday.  The England Cricket Team announced their playing XI for the 3 rd Test match against struggling New Zealand to be played at Headingly, Leeds from tomorrow onwards. Under the new captain of Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum, the hosts England played an attacking brand of cricket in both Test matches.
