FIFA World Cup 2022 Day 6 Round up

 The hosts Qatar became the first team to be knocked out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 as they lost to Senegal played at Al Thumama Stadium, Doha on 25 November. Senegal started the initial minutes with lots of possession before Qatar showed little domination. Sabaly got the first real chance but the shot went wide off the goalpost. There were chances for both teams but could not convert those chances into goals.  Qatar’s Ismail Mohammad was awarded a yellow card. Both teams tried their best to get the lead but made use of the chances. Boulyae Dia scored a brilliant goal in the 41 st minute giving Senegal a 1-0 lead and ended the first half with the same scoreline. Senegal made it 2-0 as Diedhiou scored from an assist by I Jakobs in the 48 th minute. Qatar had their first shot of the target, but Senegal goalkeeper Eduoard Mendy tipped it wide. Qatar made aggressive moves, but Mendy saved the shot. Hatem was bought in while Boudiaf was substituted. There were substitutions...

Groups and schedule of FIFA World Cup 2022 announced

 The Groups of FIFA World Cup 2022 to be played in Qatar have been announced with the tournament to be played from 21 st November till 18 th December 2022. The final draw was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre on 1 st April. It is going to be a great tournament with 8 groups divided into 4 teams each. The matches will be held in 7 venues in Qatar. From Asia, Australia, Iran, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea made it into the prestigious tournament. Out of the 32 teams, 24 took part in the 2018 edition. From Europe, there are 13 teams taking part including Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, and Wales. From Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia made it into the prestigious tournament. From CONCACAF, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States of America made it into the main tournament. Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador, and Argentina progressed through CONME...
