All England Badminton Championship 2026 Day 1: Lakshya, Dhruv & Tanisha Enter Second Round
The Indian shuttlers made a decent start to the prestigious Super 1000 All England badminton championship 2026 with Lakshya Sen, Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto entering into the second round played at Birmingham on 3 rd March. Lakshya Sen stunned defending champion Shi Y Q of China in three thrilling games. It was a closely fought affair in the initial stages before Sen showed great skills putting Shi under immense pressure to take a 11-7 lead at the interval. After the break, Sen put on brilliant display of badminton with 18-12 lead. Shi Y Q fought back strongly with points in succession. Both players fought for each point before Sen held onto his nerves to win the 1 st game with 23-21 scoreline.
