Indian women’s team qualify directly for the 2021 World Cup

After the points shared between the canceled ODI championship series between India and Pakistan, the Indian women’s team became the fourth team directly to qualify for the prestigious 2021 World Cup to be played in New Zealand from 6 th February to 7 th March. Each team will play other teams once and the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals. The series between India and Pakistan was supposed to be played between July and November 2019, but due to political tensions between these two countries did not go ahead. It is a piece of great news for Indian Cricket fans as the national women’s team who reached the finals of recently concluded T20 World Cup played in Australia last month.
