Swiss Open 2026 Day 1: Two Indian Doubles Pair Enter 2nd Round
It was a good outing for the Indian shuttlers as Satwik/Chirag and Amsakarunan/MR Arjun entered 2 nd round of Super 300 Swiss Open played at Basel, Switzerland on 10 th March 2026. H Amsakarunan and MR Arjun won their first-round match against Chinese Taipei opponents Chen Z-r and Lin Y-C in two straight games. The Indian pairing looked in complete control during the first game putting pressure on their opponents before winning it easily by 21-16. The second game saw both pairs fighting for each point. It ebbed and flowed till the end before Amsakarunan and Arjun won by 24-22 to move into the second round. They will face Chen C-k &Lin B-w of Chinese Taipei. After a disappointing first round-exit in the All-England badminton championship, SatwikRanki Reddy and Chirag Shetty defeated Wesley Koh and J Kubo of Singapore in two straight games.
