The first day of my course that ie MA in Mass communcation was very good . The atmosphere was very good, there was lot of hustle. Some of us had done BA in Mass communication and some were from English litrature. I had made few friends . I visited with my friends to canteen, Libary to know what is there. We had classes of media ethics, Media and society. Some of teachers also want to know about us. We came to know about this course through newsapaper and cleared the entrance exams on the second list.

The Indian team finally won their first match of the england tour by beating the county side Sussex by 6 wickets at hove. The Sussex team scored 236 all out in 45 overs with RP singh getting 4 wicket and when Indian team batted they chased the target with 4 overs to spare. This is a much needed confidence before the T-20 and the ODI series starting from the 3rd of September in durham. From the Indian side Virat Kohli scored the most number of runs with 71 runs,Parthiv Patel scoring a good half century.

England defeated India by an innings and 8 runs to win the 4-0 test match series 4-0 and get their rank 1 posostion in tests confirmed. In this whole series Dravid was the only batsman to score runs.He scored 3 tons in 4 test matches. In this match england won the toss and batted.The English bastman scored 591 runs with bell scoring 235 runs and pitersen 175 runs. The First innings of the indian innings was good as dravid scored a ton but there was nobody to support him. The indians scored 300 runs for the 1st time in series.The england asked them to follow on. The second innings tendulkar and mishra scoring very well but when mishra fell for 84 the innings lost its way and were dismissed for 283. This means that are now in 3rd rank.

There are lot sports played in India like cricket, Football,Hockey,Tennis, Boxing.These days cricket is getting a lot of recongnization and a getting a lot of money if they win major tournamnets like world cup. The others sports like tennis,hockey is not been watched and been noticed by the respective assocation of the sports and they do not know what they have won and they are been treated like they have no value for them. This is most dissapointng thing in our country that the national game 10years before hockey is being ingnored by the govt. The Indian cricket which there in England is example of that if they win the people dont crictze and if they start to lost all of people start to pull them down.

England defeated India in 3rd test to be the rank 1 status in tests by an innings and 242 runs at edgbaston. The Indian batsman did not do well in the first innings by scoring only 224 runs with MS Dhoni the captain scoring 77 runs. The england scored a massive 710 for 7 with cook scoring 294 alone. This is the most worst performance in 10 years. The Indian team had moments in the series when the team would got a chance to come in the match but the somebody or other came and rescued the team. In the second test england were 124 for 8 and allowed them to score 221 and then the Indian team were 267 for 4 but were bowled out for 288 with a lead of 67.

The Indian which is struggling at the moment in england needs the service of Viru that ie Virender Sehwag which can hit the ball and turn the game on its head and make the game very easy for the middle order. Virender sehwag who is a very good playee needs few balls to settle and if he things that the ball is in his area so he will hit. lets hope that he can do the same in two test matches.

The london olympics that will happen in london in 2012 will be a huge challange for the indian players to improve their medal tally and prove to the world that they are no pushovers. I think India can give a suprise to win medals in unknown sports like rowing, table tennis. This olympics will give a show of indian talent and their hardwork for these olympics.
