The men’s singles section saw the biggest upset as Raunak Chahuan stunned the top seed Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei in two straight games. Both players started first game on even keel taking alternate points till 4-4 before Raunak showed lovely skills to put Chou under pressure. Chou then fought back strongly to level the scores at 10-10. At the mid-game break, Raunak took a slender 11-10 lead.
