Saurashtra emerged as the new Champion of 2019/20 Ranji Trophy as they defeated Bengal on the first innings basis played at SCA Stadium, Rajkot that finished on 13 th March 2019. It was their maiden title in the prestigious tournament after reaching the fourth finals in 8 years. Victor engaged Sen in long rallies, but the Indian stayed well enough to stayed which put the opponents under pressure.  The young Indian mixed defence with aggression as he emerged right on a long 50 plus rallies.
