In the men's singles P Kashyap beat Guru Sai Dutt but it was curtains for the doubles pair of Ashwini Ponappa and Jwala Gutta lost in the second round to the Chinese pair in straight sets 21-12, 21-17. The Chinese pair played with great coordination. The second set saw a much closer game, at one stage both were locked 17-17 and at the end the chinese took the second game and match also. The men's doubles was between Malaysia and Korean pair. It was a great match as the match went to a three setter with the first set won by Korean pair 21-18, Goh/lim won the second set and third set was won by the koreans. After the league matches the semi finalist of the ICC world T-20 world cup 2014 has been decided. It will be Sri Lanka vs West Indies and then India vs South Africa.
