Theekshana got his second wicket dismissing Green trying to hit a big shot. At the end of the first six overs, Namibia scored 30 for 2.

After the field restrictions, Williams and captain Erasmus tried to steady the innings keeping scoreboard ticking. Kumara got rid of Namibia captain Erasmus with quick delivery. Chasing a paltry total of 97 runs, Kusal Perera got off to a decent start but could not convert into a big score as he was caught at mid-off. Namibia grabbed the 2nd wicket getting rid of Nissanka via review. The umpire gave it not out and on review, it was overturned to out.
