both teams having chances of winning played at Providence Stadium, Guyana on 16th

Starting on
the overnight score of 97 for 7, it was not an ideal start for West Indies as Worrican

the first innings. Holder and Joseph added 40 runs for the final wicket.
Tony de
Zorzi and Aiden Markram survived a few anxious moments before ending the first
session on 30 for 0. After the lunch break, South African openers scored at
quick pace with indiscipline bowling. Both looked in good touch keeping the scoreboard
ticking.
Jayden Seales
eventually got the breakthrough dismissing Zorzi with a lovely delivery to
Joshua Da Silva. Zorzi and Markram added 79 runs for the opening wicket. Tristian
Stubbs joined in with Markram to end the second session on 111 for 1.
The third
session saw Markram reaching fifty off 103 deliveries. Gudakesh Motie produced a
lovely delivery to dismiss well-set Markram Plumb in front of the wicket. Markram
and Stubbs added 41 runs for the 2nd wicket. Motie struck once again
dismissing Temba Bavuma via review for LBW. The umpire called not out,
Braithwaite decided to review and was overturned to out.
Jayden
Seales was at his best dismissing Stubbs and Bedingham to leave South Africa in
trouble at 139 for 5. Kyle Verryene showed intent keeping the scoreboard
ticking along with Wiaan Mulder.
