FIH Pro Hockey League 2025/26: Indian Men’s Hockey Team Register First Win In Shootouts

  The Indian men’s hockey team eventually tasted success with their first win of the Pro Hockey League 2025/26 against Australia played at Hobart on 25 th February 2026. Australia began the first quarter with five circle penetrations while India did not the opponent’s circle. India earned the first penalty corner, but could not convert into a goal. Australia dominated possession with 8 circle penetrations as compared to 3 by India. The Indian team decided to give Suraj Kakera in the 2 nd quarter. Australia kept the pressure with attacking moves with penalty corners but could not convert it into goals. Australia earned two PCS but lacked sharpness and accuracy. At the end of the first half, scores remained 0-0. Australia dominated circle penetrations in 1 st half with 13 as compared to 7 by India.   Badminton Asia Team Championship 2026: Indian Women And Men’s Team Starts On Winning Note The Indian women’s team and men’s began the Badminton Asia Team Championship with contrasting style on the opening day played at Qingdao, China on 4 th February 2026. Tanvi Sharma began India’s campaign with a dominating win over Thet Htzar Thuzar in the first women’s singles.
