Indian cricket dominate in 2013

The Indian cricket team has been on a roll in 2013 be it A team, under 23 or the senior team. In the beginning of 2013 England came to India for five match ODI series India defeated them 3-2, then trashed the Aussies in the four match test series 4-0, then went to the champions trophy and won that tournament which nobody thought, won the tri nation tournament in West Indies invovling the hosts West Indies and Sri Lanka, defeated Zimbawawe 5-0, defeated Aussies 3-2 in the home series, made light work of West Indies team beating 2-0 in tests and 2-1 in the ODI series and lost the final ODI series against the South Africans 2-0.Rohit Sharma has been in fanastic scoring double century in ODI"s the third Indian after Sachin and Sehwag. Sharma also scored century in 2 consecutive test matches.
The batting of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan,Virat Kohli , Mahendra Singh Dhoni giving the final touches to the innings has been a crucial thing for this sudden turnaround. In 2012 the Indian team was performing below par and the results were not coming. The change of personnel and the engery of the youngsters in the field and will to not give up till the end has resulted to such great and consistent performances. The fielding has been plus for this Indian with the likes of Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadjea, Rahane.I think the batting of Dhoni in test has been a revelation but the biggest test will be from 18th December where he would face Steyn number 1 bowler in the world, Morkel, Philander.2013 saw the retirement of the one the greatest role model Sachin Tendulkar and that time the whole of India was praying for this little genius.
Flops:
The flops of the year has been Gambhir and Yuvraj who have been out of form. Gambhir has been out of the team and not considered. Yuvraj has been not scoring consistently in ODI's and also the death bowling of Indian team has been a woory.
Challenges
I am firm believer that if these talented youngsters like Vijay, Pujara, Kohli, Sharma and other can perform in upcoming test and win both of the test matches then in 2014 it can become number 1 team in tests
