India begins T-20 world with bang

After a series of losses the Indian team started the T-20 world cup 2014 with a bang after defeating the Pakistans by 7 wickets. Indian team bowling which was a very before the match stood up to the occasion as the Indian spinners choked the batsman and also pacers did a great job. Mishra and other two Indian spinners were economical as the trio conceded 64 off 12 overs. It was a terffic bowling performance and fielding was also not up to mark as the Indians dropped catches. This win will be a big morale boosting win for the Indian team and this win will help the Indians to play much better in coming matches which are against the West Indies, Bangladesh and Australia.

The opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan put a 50 plus stand that allowed the Indians to take a breather. After the partnership the team lost 3 quick wickets but the partnership of Raina and Kohli ensured that there was no more panic in the innings. The beauty of the partnership was to rotate the strike and hit boundaries at will. I think this win will give the Indians a huge boost after loosing so many matches in a trot and Dhoni after a break looks relaxed.

The batting of Yuvraj who is an explosive batsman got out for 1. He dropped 1 catch and bowled 1 over which costs him 15 runs. I think the dew will play a key role and if India has to bat first they need atleast 170-180 score and let the spinners do the talking.
