A good practice for the Indian batters in tour game

Before the five test series begins the India got much needed batting practice in the first tour opener at Grace Road stadium in Leicester.  India won the toss and elected to bat. Vijay was the only person who got for 20. All the other batters including Gambhir retired out for 54, Shikhar Dhawan injured his finger who scored 60, Pujara Retired out for 57,Virat Kohli was bowled for 29,and the batsman who were batting at the crease Rahane on 42 and Rohit Sharma 36. The tour opener will set the tone of the series and allow the batsman to adjust to the conditions which will test these young batsman who have never played in England apart from three players including Ishant Sharma, MS Dhoni and Gautuam Gambhir.  

The motive of this game is get the Indian batsman and bowlers get used to these conditions and it will big morale booster for Indian team that England team lost the test series against Sri lanka 1-0. At the present India are 331 for 4 at the end 88.1 overs. The crucial thing is get as much batting practice in these two warm matches. Indian batsman must focus on spending time on crease. These practice matches will help Dhoni to know what combinations in first test to start from 9th July.

On the 2nd the focus should on bowling which has been the main problem in the past. The main bowler Ishant Sharma, Shami, Aaron, Jadeja needs to bowl good line and lengths. These youngsters have the ability to surprise anybody. At the end of the Day 1 the score of the Indian team is 333 for 4 with Rahane 47 and Rohit Sharma 43.
