IPL 2017 schedule released

The much awaited Indian Premier League is back as the schedule for the 2017 edition has been announced today. The opening match of IPL 2017 will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 5th April.
Defending Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on runners up of last year Royal Challengers in the first at Hyderabad. The 2017 edition has 10 venues and spread over 47 days. Each team has to play 14 matches out of which 7 will be at home.
2017 edition will the return of Indore as venue for the first time since 2011. The finals will be played on 21st May at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
In the 2017 auction 351 players will be up to the auction on 20th February the council body confirmed. The final lists will 799 players who have registered their names to auction. 122 are international players including six players from Afghanistan and UAE.
30 players from Australia, 6 from Bangladesh, 9 from England, 226 from India, 21 from Sri Lanka , 13 from South Africa, 21 from West Indies will participate in the auction.
