5 young Indian players who impressed in IPL 10 so far

Since the inception of IPL in 2008, it has been a great platform for young Indian players like Axar Patel, Sandeep Sharma to showcase their talent to the world and have represented the Indian national team. With the group stages coming to a close in the 10th edition of IPL, there are some young talents who have done well for their respective franchises. Here we look at such 5 young talents of IPL 10 so far.
5. Mohammed Siraj 
Mohammed Siraj a young tall fast bowler from Hyderabad has been decent so far in the IPL 10. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 2.6 Crores and made his IPL debut against Delhi Daredevils on 19th April 2017. At the present moment, SRH are 3rd in the points table with 13 points.
Siraj has impressed with bowling yorkers, variations and surprising the batsmen with bouncers. In the 4 matches, he has played so far, the young Indian bowler has taken 6 wickets with an economy of 9.25 runs per over. His best figures were 2/26.
4. Basil Thampi 
Basil Thampi playing domestic cricket for Kerala, he was bought by Gujarat Lions to strengthen the pace attack in absence of Dale Steyn. He made his IPL 10 debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 9th April. Gujarat Lions are currently Delhi Daredevils at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, today.
Thampi has impressed with his pace and ability to bowl yorkers on will. In the 10 matches, he has taken a total of 8 wickets with an economy of 3/29. He has taken top wickets of Chris Gayle, MS Dhoni, Manoj Tiwary and few top other batsmen.
3.   Ishan Kishan 
Ishan Kishan left-handed batsman played a key role in helping Jharkhand reach the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy 2016/17 season. He did not get many chances in last year's edition. He was seen at the top order in some matches and lower down the order in some.
The young dashing player has played 8 matches so far scoring 149 runs with a strike rate of 134.23. His top score in IPL 10 was 48 against Mumbai Indians. Gujarat Lions are 7th on the points table.
2. Nitish Rana 
Nitish Rana another left-handed batsman plays for Delhi in the domestic cricket. He has impressed with the array of stroke play representing Mumbai Indians in the VIVO IPL 10 so far.  He did not play enough matches in IPL 9 and played first match in this edition against Rising Pune Supergiant.    
In the 10 matches, he has scored a total of 312 runs with 4 half centuries. His best score has been 62*. This young Indian star has shown his class coming at number 3 and playing attacking strokes right from word go. Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the knockout stages.
1.Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi has been find in the IPL 10 season so far. He was bought by Pune Supergiant in the auctions and has done justice with his ability. In the Ranji Trophy, Tripathi has been playing for Maharastra. 
Rising Pune Supergiant are currently in 3rd with 14 points. He has given Rising Pune Supergiant quickfire starts which have helped them to build to good totals. Tripathi made his IPL debut against Delhi Daredevils on 11th April. In the 9 matches he played so far, the attacking opener has been in great form scoring 352 runs with an average of 39.11 and an amazing strike rate of 155.06.   
His best score came against Kolkata Knight Riders which was 93. He has 2 half centuries to his name. Because of quick fire starts, Rising Pune Supergiant could qualify for playoff stages.
