In this year’s BBL season so far, Hales has been dismissed for 0 only twice. His performances in the knockout rounds will be important for Sydney Thunder. Hales broke the record of Marcus Stoinis who smashed 28 sixes during the 2019/20 season for Melbourne Stars.

Chris Lynn achieved the feat of hitting most sixes twice. He hit 27 sixes for Brisbane Heats in the 2015/16 season and then 26 sixes during the 2016/17 season.

Alex Hales has been a superb performer for England in the T20I format. He played his last T20I against West Indies at St Kitts on 10th March 2019. He made a quickfire 20 off 13 balls and helped England chase down a paltry total with 8 wickets remaining and 57 balls to spare.

With the five T20I games coming up on Indian soil, Hales would be hoping to selected in England T20I squad and also in the World T20 Cup to be played in India this year.
