IPL 2021: Royal Challengers Bangalore looks strong after 3 big signings

Royal Challengers Bangalore named 3 major signings for the 2nd leg of Indian Premier League season 13 to be played from 19th September till 15th October 2021.

After brilliant performances in the limited-overs series against India, Sri Lankan mystery spinner Hasaranga replaces Australian leg spinner Adam Zampa. It is a great signing for RCB as his variations will trouble the opposition batsmen and would be a handful along with Yuzi Chahal.

In the recently concluded home T20 series, Hasaranga created havoc by picking career-best figures of 4 for 9 in 4 overs during the 3rd T20I helping Sri Lanka to a series win. He has played a total of 21 matches (20 innings) with 33 wickets at an amazing economy of 6.56 runs per over.

Tim David became the first player from Singapore to feature in IPL. He featured for Lahore Qalandars in PSL last season. He featured for Hobart Hurricanes in BBL last year and made 279 runs at a strike rate of 153. 29. David had a great run for Surrey scoring 2 centuries and a half-century in the last four List A games.

David played a total of 11 T20I matches (11 innings) and scored 429 runs with a career-best score of 92. He will be replacing Finn Allen and could be a big asset in subcontinent conditions doing well in recent times.

Dushmanta Chameera has also performed brilliantly recently for the Lankan team during the T20I series against India. He played a total of 28 matches ( 28 innings) and picked 30 wickets with the career-best figure of 4 for 17. The pacer will be replacing Daniel Sams.

The three new additions, it will add strength to the team. AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, Kyle Jamieson, Daniel Christian are the foreigners.
