Strong Indian squad selected for the World T20

 The BCCI announced the 15-member squad for the prestigious World T20 to be played in the United Arab Emirates starting from 23rd October.

The Indian team will be led by Virat Kohli in the prestigious tournaments. The batting department looks strong with Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya.

The all-round department consists of Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya. Ravichandran Ashwin has been included by selectors due to his experience in spinning conditions as Yuzvendra Chahal being dropped.

The spinning department consists of Rahul Chahar, Jadeja, Ashwin, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakravarthy. Chahal who did not perform well in recent times has been dropped along with Kuldeep Yadav.

Pace bowling also looks solid with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar. This team has all the ingredients to become the champions one more time after winning the inuragul T20 in 2007.

The reserves players included Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, and Deepak Chahar. Indian team has top quality batting line-up, good-quality spinners, and pace bowlers creating damage.

In major news, MS Dhoni has been appointed as the mentor for the prestigious tournament. They would be looking to showcase their mettle and win the World T20 again. India has been placed with arch-rivals Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and two qualifiers.

Ishan Kishan and Pant has been selected as two wicketkeepers. The Indian Cricket Team lacked the final touches to win any major tournament since the 2013 ICC Champions trophy.
