Hero Asia Cup Hockey 2025: Schedule Of Super 4 Stage

 

The top four teams of the Hero Men’s Asia Cup hockey 2025 have been decided on 1st September at Rajgir, Bihar.

Hosts India finished top of Group A winning all there matches. They started the tournament with a thrilling 4-3 win over China, won against Japan 3-2 and then ended league thrashing Kazakhstan 15-0.

China finished 2nd in the points table with 1 win, 1 loss and 1 draw. They stretched the hosts India before losing match by 3-4, outclassed Kazakhstan with resounding 13-1 win and drew 2-2 with Japan. Both China and Japan finished on the same number of points but due to a better goal difference of plus 11, China made it into Super 4 stage.

Group B saw Malaysia finishing at the top of points table. They proved too strong for their opponents winning 4-1 against Bangladesh, 4-1 against defending champions South Korea and outclassed Chinese Taipei 15-0. South Korea entered into the Super 4 stage with a big win over Chinese Taipei by 7-0, 5-1 against Bangladesh. They lost to Malaysia by 1-4.

India, China, South Korea and Malaysia will face off each other once before the top two teams would qualify for the finals.

Indian team will look to fight out with these three strong teams in the Super 4 stage and stake a claim in the finals. All the Indian matches will be played at 7.30 PM IST. Harmanpreet Singh and Co would look to continue their momentum with solid performances in the defence and forwards make sure that they convert chances into goals.
