The fourth edition of the T-20 world cup is set to begin on the 18th of september and finish on the 7th of October. There are 4 groups of 3 teams each out of which 2 from every group will qualify for the super eight. This should be the most fantastic tournament as the minnows like Ireland , Afghanistan will try to knock the big teams out of the tournament.  The 4 groups are as follows Group A: India, England, Afghanistan  Group B: Australia, Ireland, West Indies Group C: Sri Lanka, South Africa , Zimbabwe Group D: Pakistan, Newzeland , Bangaldesh I think the Indians can bring back the cup because the team has a strong batting line up as sehwag, Kohli, Raina, Dhoni, Yuvraj but the main problem lies with the bowling line as they can concede crucial runs. Pakistan are also tagged as the favorites to win this cup as they have a good bowling line up. So lets that this world cup can bring surprises and should be a very good, competitive tournament   

India emerged the champions of the U-19 world cup defeating the Aussie by 6 wickets in towns ville on Sunday. After winning the toss the Indians bowled first. They picked 4 quick wickets to reduce the score to 52 for 4 but after that the Indians somehow lost the plot and allowed them to score a really competitive total of 225 for 8 after 50 overs. The star of Indian bowling was Harmeet Singh. Throughout the tournament the bowling of Indian team was great picking up crucial wickets at the start and the fielding standard was top notch. When the Indians came to chase the target of 226 to win the title. The innings got off to a bad beginning losing the wicket of Prashant Chopra, then the partnership of Baba Aparjtih and captain Unmukt Chand scored freely. Indian U-19 team is on the verge of winning the world cup by entering into the finals by defeating the kiwis team by 9 runs today in townsville. Newzeland won the toss and elected to field, the indians got off a good start scoring 133 in 34 overs for the loss of 2 wickets but they lost quick wickets in the middle and stalled the scoring. The tight bowling made the Indians to get to respectable total to bowl at, the score was 209 for 9 in 50 overs. The indian bowling was up to the mark and never allowed the Kiwis to get away from them. The score was 200 for 9. The batting of indian team has been a serious issue and never got a big score after getting a start. Now india needs a last effort from the team to lift the U-19 world cup for the 3rd time. India has done the nation proud by winning India its best medal haul in the London olympics 2012 by winning 6 medals, 4 bronze and 2 silver. India has done great in this games by going past the bejing olympic medal tally of 3. In this olympics Many stars has risen like Gagan Narang who got the 1st medal that broze followed by Vijay Kumar silver in shooting, Saina Nehwal bronze in Badmiation, Mary Kom Bronze in 51kg. The women boxing was included for the 1st time in olympics. She won a bronze. The wrestling team got 2 medals, 1 bronze by Yogeshwar Dutt, 1 silver By India wrestling Superstar Sushil kumar who lost in the final. India has also done well in athletics with Vikas Gowda and Krishna Poonia doing well to qualify for the discuss throw event of each. The 81 indian contigent who went to particpate in the london olympics there were some good performances and not good perfomances accordin to the expecations before leaving for the biggest event of their lives. The good performances inlcuded star badmiation player Saina Nehwal who won the bronze medal, Shooter Gagan Narang who won the first medal for the Indians took the bronze in 10 m pistol event, Shooter Vijay kumar who won the Silver medal and Mary kom won the bronze medal in 51kg boxing. The women boxing was included for the first time in olympics. The disappoimnet included the Archers who did not perform well in the  indivdual event and as well in the team event. The hockey team also lost all their 5 mathces in the group and is fighting to avoid the wooden spoon that the last place. The male boxers who were expected to win a medal have not perfomed well according to ablity. I think can win atleast 2 gold medal and finish in the top 30.

India lost the 2nd ODI of series against the SRI Lankans by 9 wickets after winning the first one day 2 days ago. In the first ODI india innings began well to score a good score of 314 for 6 in 50 overs. In today match the indians did not start well and lost wickets at regular interval. The team was bowled for 138 all out in 33.3 overs and the Sri Lankan team chased with ease losing only 1 wicket. But in 1st ODI Kohli, Sehwag, Dhoni, Raina scored pretty well and the fielding of the Sri Lankan team was not up to the mark. The Sri Lankan innings never got a start. Sangakara played a fine knock of 133 but was not enough to register a win for the home team and lost the match by 21 runs. I think the Indians should change their combination for the next 3 matches by bringing Ashok Dinda in place of Umesh Yadav, Manoj Tiwary of Rohit Sharma.

Australia are no longer a strong team as they have been beaten by a good english team. The English team are leading the 5 match series 3-0 with 1 match to go with 1 match did not happen because of rain. The margin of each defeat is was very bad as they lost the first match by 15 runs, 2nd match by 6 wickets and the last match at durham by 8 wickets. The batting of Australian team has been let down in seaming condtions. They were facing the likes of Anderson, Finn, Broad, Bresanan and the best spinner in the form of Swann. The pitch at Durham was very good for the bowlers as the English side capatalized the condtions very well. The Aussies scored only 200 runs and the england team chased it with ease. The bowling also looked below par with Lee, Mckay, Johoson and Doherty, watson were not able to pick wickets at regular interval. This made the life of Clarke very bad.
