India win the first ODI of season but lost the second

India lost the 2nd ODI of series against the SRI Lankans by 9 wickets after winning the first one day 2 days ago. In the first ODI india innings began well to score a good score of 314 for 6 in 50 overs.

In today match the indians did not start well and lost wickets at regular interval. The team was bowled for 138 all out in 33.3 overs and the Sri Lankan team chased with ease losing only 1 wicket.

But in 1st ODI Kohli, Sehwag, Dhoni, Raina scored pretty well and the fielding of the Sri Lankan team was not up to the mark. The Sri Lankan innings never got a start. Sangakara played a fine knock of 133 but was not enough to register a win for the home team and lost the match by 21 runs.

I think the Indians should change their combination for the next 3 matches by bringing Ashok Dinda in place of Umesh Yadav, Manoj Tiwary of Rohit Sharma.

  The defending Champions India registered a commanding win in the 2 nd semi-finals against South Korea of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 played in Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia on 16 th September. Indian team began the first quarter on a good note with Abhishek's reverse flick shot saved by Korean goalkeeper Kim Jahean.   The defending Champions England qualified for the semi-finals with a thrashing of the USA in a must-win game played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 23 rd June 2024. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field first. Reece Topley struck in the first over dismissing Andries Gous with a simple catch to Salt.
