The T-20 world cup set to begin on 18th september

The fourth edition of the T-20 world cup is set to begin on the 18th of september and finish on the 7th of October. There are 4 groups of 3 teams each out of which 2 from every group will qualify for the super eight.
This should be the most fantastic tournament as the minnows like Ireland , Afghanistan will try to knock the big teams out of the tournament.  The 4 groups are as follows

Group A: India, England, Afghanistan 

Group B: Australia, Ireland, West Indies

Group C: Sri Lanka, South Africa , Zimbabwe

Group D: Pakistan, Newzeland , Bangaldesh

I think the Indians can bring back the cup because the team has a strong batting line up as sehwag, Kohli, Raina, Dhoni, Yuvraj but the main problem lies with the bowling line as they can concede crucial runs. Pakistan are also tagged as the favorites to win this cup as they have a good bowling line up. So lets that this world cup can bring surprises and should be a very good, competitive tournament

Asia Champions Trophy 2024: India Enters Finals With Commanding Win

  The defending Champions India registered a commanding win in the 2 nd semi-finals against South Korea of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 played in Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia on 16 th September. Indian team began the first quarter on a good note with Abhishek's reverse flick shot saved by Korean goalkeeper Kim Jahean. After the initial domination, a superb pass by Arijit with a goal by Uttam Singh in the 13 th minute to give India a 1-0 lead. Soon after, Korea’s two penalty corners before the third penalty corner as the shot hits Sumit’s body.   At the end of the first quarter, India led 1-0.   The defending Champions England qualified for the semi-finals with a thrashing of the USA in a must-win game played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 23 rd June 2024. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field first. Reece Topley struck in the first over dismissing Andries Gous with a simple catch to Salt. Nitish Kumar and Steve Taylor steadied the ship for the USA. Sam Curran dismissed Steve Taylor caught by Moeen Ali. Taylor and Nitish Kumar added 34 runs for the 2 nd wicket. It was a disciplined bowling effort by the England bowlers as they kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Sam Curran struck to dismiss Harmeet Singh. Chris Jordan became the first England bowler to grab a hat trick in the T20I format. Jordan dismissed Corey Anderson, Ali Khan, and Kenjige.
