3 big events this year in cricket

In 2012 cricket is going to be main attention as there are 3 major events to take place. From August 11 a under world cup will be held in Australia where 12 teams will fight for the biggest honour. In 2010 Australia were the champions and this India has a chance to win the trophy.

Soon after that The women's T-20 world cup will commence from the 26th sept and finish on the 7th of October and at the same time the men's team will also compete in the fourth edition of shortest form of the game that is T-20. This tournamnet will began from 18th of september and end on the same date as the women's.

I think that India has a good chance to win the U-19 cup and also the T-20 cup. India can do it because of the talent and also the ablity to score runs quickly. India team has players like Dhoni, Rania, Sehwag and also good spinner in Ashwin, Jadeja and Zaheer khan.

  The defending Champions India registered a commanding win in the 2 nd semi-finals against South Korea of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 played in Hulunbir, Inner Mongolia on 16 th September. Indian team began the first quarter on a good note with Abhishek's reverse flick shot saved by Korean goalkeeper Kim Jahean. After the initial domination, a superb pass by Arijit with a goal by Uttam Singh in the 13 th minute to give India a 1-0 lead.   The defending Champions England qualified for the semi-finals with a thrashing of the USA in a must-win game played at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 23 rd June 2024. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field first. Reece Topley struck in the first over dismissing Andries Gous with a simple catch to Salt. Nitish Kumar and Steve Taylor steadied the ship for the USA. Sam Curran dismissed Steve Taylor caught by Moeen Ali. Taylor and Nitish Kumar added 34 runs for the 2 nd wicket.
